Asphalt Paving & Sealcoating in Woodland, WA

Woodland marks the north edge of where we work, sitting along I-5 near the Lewis River. The properties out here are different from what we see closer to Vancouver: more rural, longer driveways, more agricultural and small commercial sites than retail parking lots.

That means more ground to grade and prep per job, and soil conditions that can shift a lot from one property to the next. We spend extra time figuring out what the base actually needs before we start. A lot of properties also mix paved driveways with gravel farm roads, and that transition point is usually where problems show up first if the base wasn’t done right.

Heavier equipment is common out here too. A truck or a loaded trailer making the same turn every day puts more stress on asphalt than a passenger car ever will, so we plan for that when we’re figuring out thickness and compaction. We also do a fair amount of straightforward maintenance work: seal coating farm and business driveways, patching cracks and potholes on pavement that takes a beating from heavy use.

Woodland is also a stop for a lot of people heading up to Mount St. Helens, so business owners here care about how their lot looks to people just passing through, not only their regular customers. We cover the area out toward La Center on the same trip since it’s one drive from Battle Ground.

If you’re anywhere around Woodland and need paving, repair, striping, crack sealing, or seal coating, give us a call.
