Camas has changed a lot in the last twenty years. What used to be a mill town built around the Georgia-Pacific paper plant downtown now has business parks and tech offices spreading out toward the north end of the city, and most of our work here reflects that shift. We’re laying fresh asphalt on newly graded lots more often than we’re patching decades-old pavement, which is a different job than what we do in most of the county.
New construction changes how we approach a site. The drainage is usually already engineered into the property, so our job is making sure the base and the grading hold up to that plan rather than fighting against it. We still see plenty of maintenance work too, mostly seal coating and striping for the office parks and retail lots that need to keep looking presentable.
A lot of the newer neighborhoods have HOA rules about how driveways and shared pavement are supposed to look, so we factor that in before we ever start a job.
Washougal is close enough that we treat it as the same trip. If you’re anywhere in Camas or Washougal and need paving, striping, crack repair, or seal coating, give us a call.
